Application

The SRQD100 electric down-the-hole drill is a machine that converts electrical energy and compressed air into mechanical energy to break rocks. After being powered on, the torque generated by the motor drives the drill bit to rotate through the reducer.

The compressed air, after passing through the lubricator and pneumatic valve, is divided into two paths: one path enters the front and rear chambers of the propulsion cylinder, and the axial force generated drives the drill bit forward or upward through the cylinder piston and guide rod; the other path enters the impactor through the air inlet seat in the reducer, thus achieving impact drilling. The 25-meter drilling depth is a conservative estimate; a larger air compressor can drill even deeper.
